Mountain Valley Stone, Inc. was established in 1999 to meet a need for quarrying Utah's blond sandstone. At that time, there were no quarries operating 365 days a year. Initially, the current owners were mining only for their stone masonry projects.  However, the demand for blond sandstone continued to increase. Today the company sells stone throughout the United States and employs over twenty-five stonemasons.
